We know how fortunate we are to live where we do. We are incredibly grateful for it. Not only do we have a beautiful landscape surrounding us, but we also have the best residents (and visitors!) and an endless amount of activities and festivities for all.
You can always find something to do around these parts, but here are our top four for the upcoming months.
Feast of Little Italy
We can all be honest with each other and talk about our love of pasta and Italian food, right? A favorite cuisine among many and now a festival to go along with it, Italian food is front and center of the Feast of Little Italy cultural event happening November 1-3 in downtown Abacoa, Jupiter. Admission prices are low, food is phenomenal, and the family fun will put a smile on everyone’s face.
Veterans Day Observance
This year, consider taking a moment to observe Veterans Day in a different way. Veteran’s Memorial Park will play host to the honoring event featuring a procession of colors, guest speakers and patriotic music. The event begins at 9:30 a.m.
West Palm Beach Arts Festival
From Saturday, December 7 through Sunday, December 8 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m. both days), plan a visit to the 4th annual West Palm Beach Arts Festival presented by Armory Art Festival. You’ll be amazed at the artists displaying their craft, all of the demonstrations, delicious food trucks, and activities for adults and kids alike. After all, arts are for everyone. There will be 90 tents throughout the campus to stop at. Best of all is that this event is free and open to the public.
George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker
You can’t get through the latter part of the year without seeing The Nutcracker at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts! Presented by the Miami City Ballet, this classic dance is magically filled with all of the characters we’ve developed a fond heart for. Enjoy “Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy” set to the music of Tchaikovsky performed by a live orchestra. Get tickets for the shows running Friday, December 27 through Sunday, December 29.
